Set up your first Second Life land rental

From a registered parcel to a confirmed tenancy: the checks to make before and after the sale.

  1. 01Available parcel
  2. 02Sale in SL
  3. 03Confirmed tenancy
How the steps connect

1. Check the parcel

Open the listing linked to the LandSign. Check the parcel UUID, region, destination, area and prim allowance. The region type and ground description do not change the actual terrain.

2. Set sale and renewal terms

Set the initial sale price separately from the renewal rate. Choose whether the purchase includes rental time and how many weeks. Select one promotion mode if needed, then save the listing as available.

3. Verify the confirmed sale

After the buyer purchases the parcel in Second Life, check the tenant, start date, paid-until date and transaction in the dashboard. If automatic confirmation is missing, verify the actual sale before making a manual correction; do not ask the buyer to pay again.
