Estate OS manages parcels, listings, tenants and rental renewals.
1. LINK BOARDS TO THE LICENCE HOLDER
In the root prim of a LandSign or parcel Displayer, open or create a notecard named exactly:
Estate OS Config
Add:
REAL_OWNER_UUID=LICENCE_HOLDER_AVATAR_UUID
Use the Estate OS licence holder’s avatar UUID, never a name or a group, object, tenant or staff member UUID. Replace any all-zero example value.
When the licence holder rezzes the boards, this notecard is optional: their UUID is used automatically. When a team member rezzes them, enter the licence holder in the notecard. The team member must also have the required dashboard permissions; the notecard does not grant access.
For a LandSign on group-owned land, add where needed:
REAL_GROUP_UUID=LAND_GROUP_UUID
Keep the licence holder’s avatar UUID in REAL_OWNER_UUID. Save the notecard before resetting the object.
2. INSTALL THE OBJECTS
LandSign: place it on the parcel to present the land and support its sale.
Parcel Displayer: place it on site or at your office to show a listing and destination. It does not accept payments.
Terminal and HUD: find rentals and pay renewals.
Wait for registration confirmation. Accept the permission requested by objects that receive payments and issue refunds.
3. FINISH ON THE DASHBOARD
Open Estate OS, then Listings. Check the parcel, artwork, sale terms, included rental time and renewal rates.
Under LandSigns or Displayers, check or choose the linked listing.
Set team access and useful notifications, then make a test click.
If registration fails, check the active licence, UUID, exact notecard name and the permissions of the person who rezzed the object.
